Simon Ross

Piano man extraordinaire Simon Ross has been a well-known & respected artist on the international piano scene since graduating music studies in 1996.  Initially with residencies at home town venues like Crown Casino and Murmur Piano Bar (Melbourne), and then at famous international venues like Amsterdam’s Maxim Piano Bar (NL), he honed his unique flair for entertaining & improvising song requests on the spot.  Five years performing as one of the mainstay piano bar entertainers for Carnival Cruise Lines further enhanced his international reputation.  As a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he was a founding member of the band Jetty Road, touring extensively through Australia / Canada / Europe, and twice winning Best Group at the CMAA’s (Golden Guitars).  His original jazz / world music project The Simontologists has also been featured at many renowned jazz festivals throughout Australia & Europe.
